Common Questions.

Everything you'd want to know before booking a discovery call — answered directly.

// ENGAGEMENTS

How does a MarTecha engagement typically start?

Every engagement begins with a diagnostic. Before we recommend anything, we need to understand what is actually broken. That means CRM access, stakeholder interviews with your marketing and sales leads, and a structured review of your data, routing logic, and reporting. The diagnostic typically takes 2-4 weeks. We deliver a prioritized action plan at the end with effort vs. impact rated for every finding. If you are working with us for something other than funnel optimization, like adding marketing automation, the diagnostic may change to include a couple of discovery calls instead.

How long does a typical engagement last?

Diagnostic engagements run 2-4 weeks. Implementation engagements range from 6 weeks for a focused fix (e.g., lead routing rebuild) to 4-6 months for a full RevOps overhaul. We'll scope based on what your unique diagnostic surfaces, not a preset number of hours.

Do you work on retainer or project basis?

Project-based, with clearly defined deliverables and timelines. Every engagement has a defined scope and a defined end state. If ongoing support makes sense after the initial project, we'll discuss a maintenance retainer.

What does it cost?

Engagements are priced by scope, not by the hour. Our rates depend on several factors, like company size, tech stack, current state, and goals. Book a 30-minute call and we will give you a number based on what you actually need. Our calls are low pressure and there are no strings attached.

// WHO WE WORK WITH

What types of companies do you work with?

Our typical customers are B2B companies with 50-500 employees using Salesforce or HubSpot as their primary CRM. Most of our clients are in SaaS, tech, or professional services. We also work with PE firms looking to standardize RevOps across portfolio companies. If you use a different CRM or are in a different company profile, you are welcome to reach out to us still. We will either be able to help you personally, or can refer you to another resource.

What if we already have a RevOps team?

We work alongside internal teams regularly. In most cases, the RevOps team knows what is broken but lacks the bandwidth or the outside perspective to fix it. We come in, do the diagnostic, execute the implementation, and hand off a maintainable system. Your team runs it from there.

What is the difference between hiring MarTecha and hiring a full-time RevOps person?

A full-time hire might be the right move if you need ongoing ownership of the function. MarTecha is the right move when you need the function built correctly before that hire makes sense, or when you have a specific problem that requires specialized expertise your team does not have yet. If you have a marketing team but need help setting up, optimizing, and overseeing your marketing and revenue technology, we might be a good complement to your existing team.

Do you work with companies that are not yet using AI tools?

Yes. Most of our clients have not deployed AI yet. That's one of the most common reasons why they come to us. The AI Readiness Scorecard exists to help you understand where your foundation stands before any AI deployment. We fix the foundation first. AI tools on top of broken data do not give great results.

// SCOPE AND APPROACH

What CRMs do you work with?

We work across CRMs and the broader revenue stack — including Salesforce, HubSpot, and other tools depending on what your team is using. The diagnostic tells us what you have, and the implementation works within it.

Do you do implementation, or just advisory?

We do the work. Every engagement includes hands-on execution — field configuration, workflow builds, routing rule setup, dashboard creation. We are not a strategy-only shop. We also include knowledge transfer so your team can maintain what we build.

What do you actually deliver at the end of an engagement?

At minimum: a prioritized diagnostic report with effort/impact ratings for every finding. For implementation projects, you get the configured system, documentation, and a measurement baseline for the seven KPIs we track on every engagement. This can be adjusted to your specific business needs. You will know what changed, why it changed, and how to tell if it is working.

Do you offer ongoing support after a project ends?

Yes, we do offer open-ended support retainers.

// RESULTS AND PROOF

What results do clients typically see?

The seven metrics we baseline on every engagement:

  • +Time-to-first-contact: From 6+ hours down to under 15 minutes
  • +Manual lead research time: From 15-25 hours per week down to under 5
  • +MQL-to-SQL conversion: From 5-12% up to 20-30%
  • +QML-to-opportunity conversion: From not tracked to defined and reported
  • +Routing accuracy: From manual and inconsistent to 90%+ correct first assignment
  • +Contribution visibility: From near zero to 90%+ of closed-won with marketing contribution data
  • +Meeting-to-momentum conversion: From not tracked to Stage 1 progression tracked

Results vary by starting state. Companies with more broken infrastructure see larger jumps.

Can you share client references?

Yes, we are happy to provide references after an initial call where we have confirmed there is a fit.
